The MEM Ensemble
[Musica ExperiMente Ensemble]
The International MEM Ensemble was founded by the composer Albert Patron and the
tenor Joska Lot to promote contemporary
& experimental music as well as sound researches,
to the discovery of new borders of the language and creativeness.
The desire to reapproach the poetry to the contemporary music has constituted
the principal core of the development of the MEM Ensemble.
But the desire to offer a new and professional tool of popularization to the contemporary
composers has constituted the second nucleus of the Ensemble.
The development of new musical solutions, new creative ideas, constitute an essential element of the human knowledge in every field.
That's why the MEM Ensemble represents the forge of search, the best lab of contemporary & experimental music speleology today available.
Among the Authors performed by the Ensemble we mention:
Berio, Petrassi, Lygeti, Patron, Germani, Stephens, and many of
the most important contemporary composers worldwide.
The poetic texts have carefully been selected also, to not only exalt the literary meaning
of the writings but above all the artistic expression of the writers and of the composers.
Many are the known writers that have collaborated or are collaborating with the MEM Ensemble. |
